Description

FTIR is an analytical technique used to identify functional groups and molecular structures in a sample by measuring how it absorbs infrared light. Each compound produces a unique spectral fingerprint, helping determine its chemical composition and bonding.

Packaging Instructions

Liquid samples: 5 mL per analysis — send in airtight bottles (PET/sample bottles).

Solid samples: 2 g per analysis — send in zip-lock bags or airtight containers.

Label samples clearly using paper tape/marker (max 3 words).

Secure all samples together in a sealed bag before transport.

On the bag/envelope write:
“Analysis Africa – Receiver: Madison, +234 707 626 4235”

the address of the chosen collection center.
